The Sunday Riddle #19

Started off writing ‘The Sunday Riddle #18’ as the title for this post… wait a minute? Its week 19 ?! Blimey time is going stupidly quick!

Anyway back on topic boys and girls (and furries). Last weeks riddle got lots of you commenting.. you are all such clever sausages! Remember this??

Big as a biscuit, deep as a cup, Even a river canโ€™t fill it up. What is it?

Scienerf, Hutch a Good Life and doggy style all got this one correct! Well done Cupcake and Rumpydog for giving it a good try! (One of these days, Ill make sure the answer is bacon, just for you :P)

A sieve!! Or tea-strainer depending how you look at it. Both work ๐Ÿ˜€ย

So for this weeks riddle, I have a tasty treat for you! Not quite bacon but Im thinking of that one ;P

You throw away the outside and cook the inside. Then you eat the outside and throw away the inside. What did you eat?

Good Luck folks!

P.s. Casper Update
He is doing well. He still has a large scab on his toe but the swelling has gone down and we’ve had no more scary incidents since ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. A prepackaged chicken? I’m glad he’s feeling better the antibiotics must be doing the trick ๐Ÿ™‚ Love and licks from me and Toby xx

  2. Corn on the cob? Great news on Casper.

  3. I wanted to say bananas, but it made no sense. It sounds like animalcouriers may have it, but my guess will be the freak-head-jack-o-lantern across the hall. I know that makes no sense either, but I can’t stop thinking about it.

Love and licks and I love riddles,

  4. Yay! Whee got it right! For some reason whee wanted to answer bacon on this . . . . Cupcake is rubbing off on us! But the answer must be sweetcorn. The type on the cob. Whee actually love it. Mmmmm sweetcorn!

Glad Casper is on the mend.

    Nibbles, Nutty, Buddy & Basil

  5. Chani @ pearls,lace and pancakes

No idea, but speaking of Casper’s injury, I’m glad to hear he is getting better. Did I ever tell you what happened with Heston? He dislocated his toe on CHRISTMAS EVE. It went all purple and swollen too. Luckily the vet was still open by some miracle and she gave us honey flavoured anti inflammatory for him, which he LOVED. Oh, they’re such troublesome, loveable critters, aren’t they?!!!xxx

Squeak up folks! What do you think??
